"Small building with a beautiful intricately decorated and painted ceiling. I was fortunate that a guide happened to be there with some French tourists and luckily I understand some French and learnt that only 1 window is original and still has a few blue and green colored glass set in the white frame."

"One of the nicest surprises of my visit. It was closed the first time, second time I was walking by decided to go see it. They charge 100 Lek, less than a dollar to see it. This place needs to be treasured by the people of Albania. One of the finest Islamic Albanian works of art I have ever seen. The woodworking and gold leaf is just breath taking. Give it a visit and donate to help preserve it."

"My visit was very pleasant! I found the person responsible for the monument at the mosque just in front and he let me visit both sites. He explained me about how the dervishes used the room with the musicians. Showed me details and told me a bit about the country's history (during communist era the desvishes were arrested and the tekke was used as a market). I also had some time just to sit and feel the beauty and calmness of the place. Together with other structures located in the square, the tekke is a journey to the past and an important site for those interested in sufism."
