Hi all , I adore Albanian culture I been there before . However , I’m planning a trip to Albania by car and want to find a beautiful, safe area , and affordable beach that is also calm .What would you suggest?

Himare is good. My wife's family always goes there and they're older. Borsh is good. I've heard Bunec is good but haven't been there myself. Qeparo is my favorite. And there is a new road that goes directly there. Good thing about Qeparo is it's very close to borsh too. If…

Me and my girlfriend plan on visiting Albania, and we are thinking of a few days in the mountains and then a couple of days by the coast.

We are looking for some kind of cozy town that’s not too touristy. Figured it’s best to ask some real Albanians instead of some tourist vlogger! Any ”hidden gems” or must see places in your beautiful country?

Reviews Summary

Borsh Beach is praised for its vast, undeveloped beauty and clear waters, offering a more tranquil experience than other Riviera spots. Visitors appreciate the ample free parking, good dining options, and the historical allure of the nearby castle ruins. However, some note that infrastructure is still growing and the water depth increases rapidly.

"One of the lesser developed beaches in Albania. Infrastructure is still in development here. An asphalted road ends after a 500m. The beach is a pebble one but incredibly long. The betters spots are to be found further up where there is also less wind and more quality restaurants. Meanwhile a huge resort is under development with works taking place mainly in winter months."

"Loved that beach.
One of our best days in Albania.

Try Noel fast food for good and not too expensive food. We tried couple places there, that place was the best of them.
Beach was Not that crowded. And there was a section of the beach for you own stuff like umbrellas and blankets.

You can also pay for beds and umbrella. They have have toilets, changing rooms and showers.

Water is deep, be careful as a family with kids.

Water clear and refreshing. Not too cold now (July).

Free parking spots available."

"Long beach with clear water. Very accessible from the main road. Clean. You can park by the restaurants, which also provide sunbeds and umbrellas, or in the back, where there is free parking right by the beach. In addition to the restaurants there is also the possibility to use fast food."
