What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Durrës Beach offers a lively coastal experience with extensive amenities and warm, shallow waters suitable for families. While the main beach can be crowded and sometimes lacks cleanliness, visitors can find better conditions by exploring nearby Currila or Golem beaches. The promenade provides a pleasant atmosphere for evening strolls, and the city's historical sites add an interesting dimension.
"Awesome spot at the pier going to bar Hawaii Beach. You can rent two beach chairs and umbrella on the pier for 1000 lek. There is no sand in this part but you have access to the water by using the piers and stairs alongside the pier. The water was the perfect temperature and crystal clear. Also good for children as it’s not too deep the whole extension of the pier. We loved it."

"I think this town in Albania has a lot of potential to be a good tourist spot. The sea is calm and pleasantly dotted with shops and places to eat or drink. Historical sites are near by.
Currently, I saw mostly families here but there is a potential for single people to have a good time as well. Just a slower town than Tirana."

"Not very wide beaches. A lot of commercial sunbeds and umbrellas from hotels and local companies. Not much space if you don't want to take sunbeds. Sometimes you have to walk for five or six minutes. The beaches are not very clean, lots of cigarette butts. There are also wasps. The sea is warm and shallow near the coast. You have to walk min 20 meters to get to the depth."
