What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Vallnord Bike Park Pal Arinsal is highly praised for its fantastic trails and well-maintained park, offering a great experience for both beginners and experienced riders. Families particularly enjoy the kid-friendly options and the overall fun atmosphere. Some visitors note that the park can get crowded, especially on weekends or before major events, impacting trail conditions.
"Great bike park but was very crowded. Not long waits at the lift but trails were busy.
Went back on a Monday and it was much less busy. I would recommend renting a bike in La Massana at Commencal. You can ride from there to the gondola about a half mile down the road. They have a self service kiosk for buying a lift ticket for 36 Euro. Ride the gondola up to the base to get started. There are maps up top to show you the route. To get back down you start riding the road down to the trail heads for the downhill runs to the base. You will come to a blue run about a quarter mile down and the red and black runs are just past that."

"Great bikepark for cross country mountainbikers with no bikepark downhill experience. I go mountainbiking for 15 years but I was worried whether I could safely go downhill in the real mountains. The answer is yes, just make sure you stay on the green and blue trails (and choose the Furious trail only when you have built up confidence on the other trails). The bikepark is fun, it's skiing on wheels. And it's not crowded on weekdays. (even end of July)"

"Fantastic bike park - truly amazing trails. But don't visit in the week before the UCI World Championships as the team have no time to maintain the trails! Braking bumps everywhere made for tough riding. We'll have to come back another time!"
