"The part from Soldeu to El Terter is safe to go with kids (5 yo), the road is wide, there are many streams, passing fields with sheep and cows, very nice experience for kids. Can be done in 1 hour, one way ~ 1 hour
The part from EL Terter to Canillo, the track is very narrow and there are drops in some places. I won't recommend it with kids.
That part is 5 km one way, depends from your fitness level."

"You have two options:
1) from Canillo
You have to go to the cable car and from there you will see a signpost, there is an indication of the Camí del Gall. It is marked with red roosters that sometimes you only see a red outline of pain. It is not a circular path
2) from Soldeu
We had a hard time finding the start of the path because it is not marked until you see them. It is next to some apartments called Fontargent. Follow the signs of the red rooster and it will take you to Canillo"

"Fácil de bajar, algo más complicado de subir, pero bueno y bonito"
