Galleon Beach is beautiful! The color of the water is bright and pretty; It’s also not very cold of a temperature in it. It is however rocky on the entrance of the water so you may need to consider that for kids.
There is a beach bar on the beach (kinda pricey but good vibe) .
On one end is also a high end resort and on the other end is a view right beneath Shirley Heights.
There is a restroom on property as well.
I saw groups of people snorkeling and having great fun and a few other water sports activities happening.
