"Loved it! We did it from the Christian Valley side. It starts with an old farm road, bring your bad car, even for Antigua that connector is terrible. You get to a gate, and then walk. Don't miss the tractor that marks the trail head. Otherwise the road goes on. We went past it, and while a nice walk, still wasted a good twenty minutes backtracking.
Then it's overgrown reeds for a bit, then progressively steep hill. At one point you will reach a service road which I understand is not feasible for regular paysants (us), only comm tower maintenance personnel. This road is short but very steep.
At the top, follow the trail indications to go left and around the comm relay fence to reach the "observation" area. As far as photography goes, you will stretch your composition skills trying to keep the wires out of the frame.
Very nice hike, typically Carribean with an extra of Antigua pickey and sticky things. Every plant there wants to touch and scratch you 😃."

"What an experience!
My friend and I decided to do this hike around 2pm so the day was starting to cool off. We read Google reviews in hopes of finding out what to expect but we were unsuccessful, the reviews did not help us at all!
We used Google maps to guide us their via car, and if you have a good, all terrain vehicle you’d possibly be fine to drive to the top (if you’re not a scared driver).
After getting back I’ve done more research and it seems the best way to do this is to do a guided tour, we didn’t know that.
The road is very steep most of the way up (the pictures don’t do it justice) this hike is definitely not for anyone who doesn’t do regular exercise and there’s no way our little rental car would’ve made it, and when we finally got to the top the gates were locked so we didn’t get the beautiful 360° view we were hoping for.
So if you’re planning to do this yourself, I recommend doing more research than us and potentially finding yourself a guide to go with (one website I saw said the guides have a key to unlock the gates at the top) because it is a beautiful walk."

Pretty hot and humid - as to be expected, but nicely shaded pathway. Go to the right of the gates along the wall for a nice view without going inside at the top."
