What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Peru Beach is a popular recreational waterfront spot with a great skate park and water sports facilities. Visitors enjoy the lively atmosphere, scenic river views, and dining options at Toi en Peru. However, some find the food overpriced and note that it's not a traditional swimming beach.
"Went with my daughter for lunch. After waiting about ten minutes, I asked a lady serving drinks if we could order, she said she’d tell the waitress. Ten minutes later we still hadn’t ordered. The table next to us asked if they could order and she took their order. Having twenty minutes to look over the limited menu; it’s overpriced and a lot of their food is fried. The ambience is okay but the actual restaurant area felt like it was from a 1970’s boardwalk. Ten minutes later we’re sitting at another restaurant close by, we’ve already ordered our food, and the atmosphere is way better. It’s less expensive as well and a much more expansive menu."
