"Cañadón de la Buitrera – A natural paradise in Chubut

Visiting Cañadón de la Buitrera was an incredible experience. The rock walls are imposing and the landscape is completely different from any other in Patagonia. The trail is very enjoyable, surrounded by silence and nature in its purest form. It is a paradise for those who enjoy trekking and climbing. Without a doubt, a destination that I would recommend to any lover of nature and adventure."

Juan Francisco Giménez

"What a lovely place. The road from Route 40 seems long, especially when the gravel is bad. From Route 40, it's about 30 km of paved road and then about 100 km of gravel. I'm sorry, but the place is worth it. Peace, tranquility, good energy, a beautiful canyon, and a climber's paradise."

kaiselg

"I loved it. From Esquel, it's 2 hours and 15 minutes. Routes 40 and 12. The vast majority are gravel. Once you arrive, you register on a form for security. Then it's a 1 hour and 15 minute hike to the end. It's worth it; it's beautiful and incredibly exciting to walk among immense rocks. I almost didn't go because I thought it might be just another one of the many, and I thought it was incredible. So many people climbing."
