Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the spectacular monument and breathtaking panoramic views of Mendoza and the Andes. While some find the walk up steep and the monument less grand than anticipated, many agree it's a historically significant and beautiful spot worth visiting, especially for the vistas.

"A monument in recognition of The Andes Ejército did under General José de San Martín command. A very important part of South America liberation movement that led to the independence of many countries."

Leonardo Pedro Pablo López

"We definitely expected more after reading some reviews. It’s quite underwhelming, and only has a view from one side which is nice.

We walked from independence plaza through the park which wasn’t very nice in certain areas especially at the end as you are walking next to a busy road. The actual pedestrian climb to the monument wasn’t that bad but was a little steep. Potentially because we walked 2 hours to get there, we were a little unimpressed.

If you have a morning to kill & you have nothing else to do then we would say to go"

Lucy Hall

"Great spot to see the surroundings, has a big parking, lots of people are spending their free time here. A nice place for sure"
