Reviews Summary

Paso de las Tropas is widely praised for its stunning natural beauty, featuring crystal-clear pools nestled among rocks. Visitors appreciate the opportunity to hike to more secluded spots and enjoy the refreshing river. While parking fees and limited shade are noted drawbacks, the overall experience is considered wonderful and worth returning for.

"It's beautiful from the moment you arrive... I walked from the center of Nono (about 5 km) and then tried to climb to the larger pools; between the rocks and the scrambling, it was difficult. There's an easier trail above, although it has pampas grass and thorny plants, so if you're wearing shorts, you'll definitely get a souvenir on your skin... The food at the little stand before the crossing is a huge plus after the hike.
It has areas for all tastes (family, adventure, relaxation). I recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, and Crocs so you can move around in the water without your feet hurting. Despite the effort, I would go back because the place is wonderful and has a beautiful pool for swimming at the end."

"A beautiful spot with natural pools nestled among the rocks. For those who enjoy hiking, following the path uphill will lead you to secluded beaches offering peace and quiet. I recommend going in the morning when it's quieter."

Alejandra Ramos

"On November 27, 2025, we went and stopped at Dejavu. Before that place, there's another one called D'comer that charges 4,000 pesos for parking, but we decided to continue a little further and stop at this one. Parking costs 6,000 pesos if you park under the trees or 8,000 pesos under some shade structures closer to the store. The service is good, and they point out the places where you can go swimming. The restrooms are acceptable, although there was no water to wash your hands in the women's restroom. Even though we brought our own food, the menu prices are reasonable, and they give a 1,500 peso discount on each item if you park your car there. The area lacks shade, there are quite a few rocks, and some are slippery. I recommend wearing water shoes and, if possible, bringing a beach tent for sun protection. There are shallow areas and some deeper ones; both children and adults can enjoy it with the necessary precautions."
