"A beautiful trek with views of the aqua blue waters of Rio Azul. The primary trail guides ou along the azul river beginning from confluencia to where the river is fed by waterfalls and glacier run-off deep in the forested mountain canyon. The trail itseld is well-signed and groomed. You can go for a day hike (be sure to make it past the first 3 refugios to reach Mirador Azul for impressive views looking down upon the river and it's rapidsvas it carves through the Canyon). The trails have great refugios at well-placed distances making it easy to turn this into a multi-day exploration."
