What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the Reserva Natural Puerto for its free access and peaceful atmosphere, offering a chance to connect with nature and spot wildlife along its scenic boardwalk. However, some find the beach area to be dirty and note a distinct smell due to its port proximity. The presence of pets, despite regulations, is also a point of contention for some.
"Not many people were there on a Sunday afternoon."
Mike Stones
"To reach this reserve, you have to skirt the port on the right side. There's a lovely walkway where people often go for walks. There's hardly anyone on the beach, so if you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the ideal place. However, it's anything but a reserve. The beach is very dirty, too. Pets are supposedly not allowed to enter to protect the wildlife, but everyone brings their dogs. And be careful, I love dogs, but if it's a reserve, that should be respected. It's also very smelly (I understand this is normal). I hope it's given the importance and care it deserves, because it's a very beautiful place. Access is free."
Rocío Altamirano
"It's a place to connect with nature and enjoy it calmly. The walkway is in good condition, with informative signs and benches along the path. You can see small animals such as guinea pigs under the pampas grass and various types of birds."
