"This is a great Mercado. It’s clean, orderly and safe. It’s more of a fine foods market than farmers market. A great place to great charcuterie and cheese, fresh meat and chicken, dried goods, sweets and wine. There are a couple of tasty places to eat lunch or dinner."

"Mercado Central is a very varied and interesting shopping center, very reminiscent of Mercado Centrales we visited in Livorno and Firenze, Italy. There are fishmonger, butchers. Green grocers, arts and crafts vendors, artesanal kiosks, as well as cafes, bars and restaurants. We had some very good coffee at one of the cafes, my wife's cappucino had a layer of cream on the top and real chocolate sludge on the bottom. You could even get a personal paella in the Mercado Central.
Highly recommended - there's something for everyone."
