Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Ferroclub Argentino Remedios de Escalada, highlighting the passion of its members and the impressive collection of restored locomotives. It's considered a wonderful, affordable outing for families and train enthusiasts, offering a unique glimpse into Argentina's railway history with charming mini train rides and a cafe in a vintage dining car.
"I’ve wanted to see inside the Ferroclub for years and years. It was well worth the wait. The club has painstakingly restored dozens of engines and train cars, and it has developed several miniature locomotives and electric trains. The members and mechanics share the history of each engine with so much love and care that it feels like they’re introducing you to their family members. The trains themselves are impressive, and to see these ancient, imposing giants in motion is a true joy. The enthusiasm of both adults and children at today’s event was absolutely contagious. Today’s event also included several vintage “colectivos” (buses) with the famous fileteado painting that makes Buenos Aires famous. We enjoyed every second of our time in the Ferroclub."

"This is an awesome place to go with kids or adults who love trains and their history in Argentina. The are many locomotives and cars you can get in contact with. Maybe there's not a clear path to follow our a guided structure to follow on your own, but there are guided visits for free. The dinning car is awesome!"
