Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Reserva Provincial Lago Baguilt, calling it a 'fairytale place' with magical turquoise waters and a stunning glacier. While the journey involves a difficult road and a significant hike, the breathtaking, untouched nature makes it absolutely worth the effort for those seeking raw Patagonian beauty.

"A fairytale place... the magical lake with its turquoise waters and the Cónico hill with its beautiful glacier... the walk is long, but it's worth it. I had to leave my vehicle near the abandoned bus because the road was in very poor condition, and I was afraid of getting stuck. It's 7 km from the last green gate, a two-hour climb, and a two-hour return trip at a brisk pace. I saw pictures. IT'S WORTH IT... WALK AND TAKE CARE OF THE PLACE; it's practically untouched. There are companies that take you with a guide in a vehicle... another option is to bring a small bottle of water."

Profe Mauge “Mauge” Dominguez Caldini

"Difficult arrival after a few hours in a 4x4 and walking. Nature in all its magnitude in this lake in Chubut."

Hernan Carolo

"A pretty tough road to get there.. But it's definitely worth going."
