What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently rave about the breathtaking sunrise at Mirador Tres Cruces, calling it one of the most beautiful in the world. The panoramic views of the valley and mountains are also highly praised, especially after a short climb. Some note that it can be crowded with tour buses, but the experience is still considered well worth the early start and cold temperatures.
"One of the most scenic viewpoints on one of the most scenic roads in the whole of Argentina. If you are driving between Salta and Cafayate it is absolutely worth stopping for a few minutes to get an expansive view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. You can also climb a small hill on the site (3-5 minutes climb on an easy trail) and get an even wider view, but the one you get from road level is already great. This is a classic spot where pretty much all tourist busses stop, but only for a few minutes, so if you are in your own car it might be worth to wait a little while and have the whole place to yourself "in between busloads of tourists""

"Gorgeous lookout with some cool dried out plants as you come down the hill. The view of the mountain, road, and lush green valley is something to treasure.
