The combination of the stunning Andean backdrop and the quality of their offerings makes it a highly recommended destination in Mendoza. "I’ve read some odd reviews about this, and it seems like it was just logistics confusion. I will note that unless you go with a guide, they do have a guard at the gate, so at first, that seems a little offputting, and it doesn’t quite appear as if they’re open. But if you have a guide and organize it ahead of time, this was one of our favorite Vineyards to visit. Read on for my detailed review of our experience.
This was an excellent tasting and tour, and what made it so special was our guide, and I wrote down her name and cannot find the slip of paper! We came here as part of a wine tour. It was our first stop. At first, it was a little confusing, because we were waiting for another group, and I thought that the wine tour we were on was private, but the other group was a lot of fun, so I’m really glad that they joined us.
We started outside of the tasting room with a little sip of white, it may even have been champagne, for breakfast! The tour was quite early, I believe it was 9:30 in the morning, and the guide was really lovely and made me feel OK about tasting wine so early in the morning!
Then we toured the facility outside, and I wish it had been a less cloudy day so we could have seen more, but that was not the wineries fault! Our guide even explained the architecture of the building and the tiles on the roof.
We then went down into the winemaking area where we all were able to sample a baby malbec! It tasted just like grapes! And the color was bright purple! It was so interesting to taste a wine that young. What fun! Then we toured around a little bit more, again, the guide was great, and we went upstairs to the beautiful tasting room with the “Malbec colored floor” and began the actual tasting.
These were some of the most generous pours that we had the entire day of touring. It was great, because then we could really taste the wine and decide which ones we wished to buy.
The tasting room is beautifully lit, and they served some small crunchy breadsticks as a palate cleanser. I wish they had a couple of more snacks, that is my only complaint. It would’ve been nice to have had some nuts or a little bite of cheese or something as well, to go with the tasting.
Lots of photos are attached, and I took quite a few of the guide, so hopefully when this review is read, you can pass on my compliments to her. Her sense of humor and generosity in answering all of our questions was excellent. A delightful way to start our Mendoza experience."

"Booked our tour yesterday for 9.45am today. As we are driving there, at 9.30 we get a message saying our booking is cancelled as they have a tour group of 12 coming. Unfortunately they prioritise money over reputation. Would not book a tour here unless you’re okay with it being cancelled last minute.
It is difficult to organise a trip to Valle de Uco, and last minute cancellations make it even harder."
