"By far the worst municipality we've dealt with in over two years of traveling around Argentina. The disorganization for the Virgin's festival is a disgrace (from the stalls to the restrooms and even information). They're completely lost and think they're working for the black men from New York, more or less... The day before the festival, they still didn't know how much the stalls cost... They don't even respect the local artisans, much less those from outside... It's a shame because it's a beautiful city and the people we were able to speak to are very nice... But we will never return to San Nicolás again, at least until they change the inept municipality they have... I don't know if all the areas are bad, but the ones we saw in terms of commerce and organization were some of the worst in Argentina... It's disrespectful and I would tell them everything that's on my mind, but I don't want to be criticized."

"On Thursday, August 10, 2023, I had the opportunity to visit the San Nicolás Ecopark, which has little to do with ecology... 25 years ago, I had a better opportunity to see the Yaguarón Creek and the beautiful vegetation along its banks. Well, now you can see that some of it remained on one side, and on the other, they've replaced the greenery with some ornamental geese, so the clearing and destruction of the native vegetation wouldn't be noticeable... I think more geese were the ones who came up with the idea..."
