"Good afternoon everyone, I'm a mountain guide and found this place by chance. We were coming down with a brother that life gave me from summiting the Famatina Mountains. As expected, starving and tired of eating freeze-dried food, we saw the sign advertising pizza and empanadas. Without much hope, since it was 3 in the afternoon, we stopped and asked if they had anything to eat. The lady told us she only had empanadas left but that we would have to wait for her to cook them. We ordered a dozen empanadas and a bottle of Coca-Cola. To our surprise, it was a "1.5-liter glass container, original formula." The bottle was incredibly ice-cold and didn't survive the wait for the first dozen empanadas. I say this because we were so hungry and they were so delicious that one dozen wasn't enough for two. We ended up eating three dozen exquisite empanadas and two Coca-Colas under the shade of a small tree at a picturesque garden table."

"We arrived for lunch after visiting Unión de los Ríos. We had no idea what was about to happen to us a few minutes later. The owners, Patricia and Adrián, were with friends from other provinces enjoying a family barbecue and invited us to join them. Being "from the city," we were in a bit of a funk, but the truth is we had a wonderful time, listening and telling stories, as if we'd been together forever. The only thing I had to turn down was the Malbec Riojano because I had to drive afterward. I hope they don't do this to all visitors because it won't do business. I can't send this review without once again thanking Patricia, Adrián, and their dear friends who welcomed us with open arms. Unforgettable!"

"Beautiful place!! Simple but very warm, with delicious food and a peaceful silence and views. We spent the night in our mini-camper. Patricia and her family were very friendly and eager to make you have a great time. It has a small pool, but it's very well located. We'll be back!!!
