What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Belisario Cascades and Piletones, calling it one of the best hikes with incredibly peaceful and dreamy scenery. The natural pools and the unique Las Paredes Rosas are major highlights. While access requires a guided tour, reviewers find the experience well worth it, praising the knowledgeable and friendly guides.
"One of the best hikes I've ever taken. Las Paredes Rosas is a must-do in the Sierras de la Ventana. It's a must-do excursion with a guide (luckily, the best guide, without a doubt, Juani, juanigarcianacud_turismo), as you have to pass through several private fields with gates in between, and also to preserve nature since there's no entry control, for security reasons, etc. The price of the excursion, which includes entry to the Reserve, seemed illusory to me, since the guide accompanies a group of 10 of us all day, with Juani as well. Upon arrival, the place exudes peace... and from the beginning of the trail, there's water that accompanies us, while there's practically no water at Cerro Ventana (there was no water at Garganta Olvidada, and only at the Natural Pools was there little water). There are many pools along the way to Las Paredes Rosas; we went into three... one better than the other, the last one having a very long, semi-Olympic natural "pool" surrounded by high walls, something I'd never seen before."

"It was great. Our guides, Mara and Gisela, were brilliant. The scenery and the route were dreamy. So peaceful. The horses were well-groomed and tame. We went with two children, ages 5 and 4, and everything was excellent. Bring water and a protector. And snacks."
Bruno Damián Maza
"Excellent place, the trail is very peaceful for children, and the guide (Juanchi) is a spectacle. 100% recommended."
