"DESCRIPTION: Located on San Martin Street, diagonally across from Independence Square, the temple was built between the school that bears its name and the old chapel that used to be there on November 20, 1960. The province of Chubut has cathedrals in Comodoro, Esquel, and Trelew. At that time, it was blessed by Bishop Monsignor Perez of the Diocese of Comodoro Rivadavia, as it was the only school in Trelew, run by the Salesians. Next door was the aforementioned Tías School (1909). Currently, it is a mixed school. It has 11 temples and departments in Chubitense: Biedma, Florentino Ameghuino, Rawson, Gaiman, Gastre, Martires, and Telsen. Back in 2014, Fernando Croxatto, a bishop intern, was chosen to lead the Vecaria, which was waiting for the Vatican to approve it.

THE ONE WHO HAS STARTED WITH THE PAPERWORK HAS BEEN BENEDICT XVI, SO THAT THE CREATION OF THE DIOCESE OF RAWSON WOULD TAKE PLACE. IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE SINCE THERE WAS NATIVE CLERGY IN THE AREA. (FOREIGN PRIESTS) FOR THE DECLARATION OF THE SAME, THE CONSTRUCTION OF A CATHEDRAL IS NECESSARY. AND THEY THOUGHT OF MARY HELP OF CHRISTIANS, TO WHICH IMPROVEMENTS ARE BEING MADE IN INFRASTRUCTURE AND SUCH,
