. . #reel #reels #tresbocas...

Reviews Summary

Tres Bocas offers a tranquil escape into the Tigre Delta's natural beauty and unique isleño village life. Visitors appreciate the scenic boat ride and the peaceful atmosphere, especially on weekdays. However, some dining experiences have been marred by slow service and inconsistent food quality, and the upkeep of some pathways can be a minor concern.

"A relaxing place amidst the greenery of the delta. When I visited (early December) a variety of cottage garden flowers were blooming and there were no mosquitoes (except one that bit me during a walk away from the main path).
The murky waters of the canals have charm, in spite of their colour and the plastic litter that spoils some areas.
A good option for lunch or a drink is el Hornero.
There are some walks along the river banks, but don't expect too much. I spotted some birds but not much else in term of wildlife (where is it all?).
On weekdays it is very quiet, but on weekends the traffic of boats of many sizes (including crazy jet skies) can be a little off-putting.
Tres Bocas can be reached by 'colectivo' boat in about 30 minutes from Tigre and it costs 150 pesos return. Last return boat is around 7pm."

"Tres Boca is a very interesting name. I'm not sure if it relates to the service you get, but I was there on a date, and it was an excruciating time por tres horas. We waited more than two hours to get the grilled fish, and it wasn't even very good. We had to pick all the scales off of it, and it was a bit dry. The entire meal was close to 3 hours that I'll never get back. I saw many others waiting forever to get their bill. We just went inside and paid it because we couldn't stand it any longer. Please hire more staff!!"
