"I was in Ushuaia for the second time in June 2025. And one of the things I really enjoyed on both visits was the sunset in this square. Besides being a very beautiful and well-maintained square, it closely touches on a fundamental theme in our history: the Falkland Islands War. In every corner of the square, you can see representations and writings related to this sad period in Argentina."

"The monuments to the Malvinas unfortunately continue to generate hatred and increase old wounds. Just because we were Chileans, we were vandalized, even though we were not even born when the conflicts occurred... Also remember that it was Argentina that challenged Chile to war and for this reason Chile ends up supporting England, that should also be written in its monuments, why history is important and the truth must be told. Unfortunately, these places do not allow a wound to heal between peoples who should be more united, a shame."
