"Makaravank Monastery is a stunning historical site surrounded by beautiful nature. Its intricate stone carvings and peaceful atmosphere make it a truly special place to visit"

"We spent the night in the tent, just to be able to see the church early in the morning when there are no visitors. The forest around it is magical, the natural settings have certainly inspired some of the ornamentation used in the architecture. If you camp in the forest make sure you be careful with the tall grass (especially in spring time) as there are some very small parasites which we only noticed when we returned."

"Interesting place for people who love old historical places"
