"Listen. She tried.
Before settling in, Rita asks me if i have any allergies. I don’t bother because is she going to rub cilantro or latex on me? I see her before she started my additional 15 minute $40 scalp massage- she has latex gloves on and I’m like ??????? I asked if she was just wearing the gloves for the scalp massage (because oils?) and she responds that she had burned her hands 2 weeks prior during a facial with some acid so she’ll be wearing them the whole time. Ummmm okay… at this point I’m face down in the cradle, naked, what am I going to do?
Scalp massage starts, my hair is being ripped out by said gloves and she doesn’t get into my scalp because, gloves. They literally sounded and left like CONDOMS. I try to relax and deal with the condom massage I’m getting. Everything is rushed, there is ZERO relaxation.
Fast forward to where I’m practically bald and flipped over. She adds more oil to her glove, reaches across my face, and drops oil in my eye. I’m wearing contact lenses and it’s burning. I proceed to wipe my eye with the sheet on my chest and shrug it off.
Massage ends, I open my eyes and can’t see with my left one, because… oil. Rita tells me to shower the oils off if I plan to go in the steam room. Good idea. I go to grab a towel and washcloth… NO WASHCLOTHS. I had to bring in a full size towel to wipe off the oil with soap. There was also no hot water. I wanted to cry at that point.
I went to return the locker key and pay my bill and Rita was up there with the checkout people so when asked “how was your service?”, I cowardly answered “good”, sheepishly. Paid the full bill, plus tip, leaving $375 to be applied to my room.
I walked away and texted my husband immediately that that was the worst experience of my life. At that moment, one of the checkout ladies had caught up to me about the Checkout so I took the moment to tell her about the condom massage I had just received and that it was awful. She couldn’t help but chuckle at my description (it’s funny, I get it), and said she’d reach out to a manager. Haven’t heard anything yet and it’s been 24 hours.
Let’s not massage people with latex gloves and then charge them $325. I’m here with my husbands company and this story spread like wildfire. People have canceled their massages.

"Facilities were apparently under renovation at the time of our visits, therefore, were utilizing guest rooms as temporary make shift massage rooms. This review is strictly for the quality of service (actual massages) 75 mins and 60 mins. The masseuses we had were very good. Thank you"
