Visitors often highlight the kindness of individuals who open the church and share its history. However, some note inconsistencies in opening hours and express concerns about evolving worship practices and ministerial training.
"Another significant religious building in Armidale. It is rather convenient that the major churches are all about a block from each other.
The side door is open most of the day. Pop in and reflect. No need to be of faith."

"Lovely heritage building.
Multiple services on Sundays and morning tea after the 9.30am service.
Lovely Evensong once a month.
Usually very hard or never get a reply to emails via website.
They have a traditional organ but never used despite members of the Cathedral putting thousands of $ towards restoration.
The parish centre is well used and the architecture blends in well with the Hunt based Cathedral.
As time goes by many traditional aspects of worship are no longer used eg Hymns ( outside of Evensong and special events eg funerals)
Interesting grounds.
Ministers need better training as they have lacked real understanding of the bible. One minister mucked up John.
Another praised Ned Kelly ( a bushranger who murdered 3 police) !!!!
Be nice to be able to identify who is a Minister ie dresswise.
As a Cathedral be nice to see a choir and servers especially for Communion services. They seem to have a large staff but often only 1 Minister at Sunday services."

"Travelling thru from Melbourne and wished to see this beautiful Church….however it was locked.
I came across a lovely man named Peter ( a layman) who was on the grounds with some other people.
He kindly opened up the Church, turned on the lights so l could have a good look and admire this beautiful Church.
Thank you Peter…for your kindness….much appreciated
