"In my opinion, this is the best beach for snorkelling in the island. Best snorkel around mid tide (at low tide the Coral is quite high and at high tide the middle section gets very deep).
The path down from The Forts car park can be done by pretty much any vehicle (and you can park at Arthur bay) but if you want to go any further (towards Florence Bay) you’ll need a 4WD.
