What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Baldivis Children's Forest as a peaceful, free nature escape perfect for kids to explore and play. The well-marked trails, wildlife spotting opportunities, and community-driven atmosphere are highly praised. Some minor drawbacks include less-than-ideal pram accessibility and occasional overgrown paths, but these are generally outweighed by the overall positive experience.
"A great spot! Trails are very clearly marked by painted wooden posts. The Yonga trail is an easy way up the hill. We then took the appropriately named Bird View trail, and discovered a very large covered wet area, probably built to accommodate large school groups. We sat for a while and listened to the birds. Having gone first thing in the morning, we were the only ones in the entire forest; it was an incredibly peaceful spot! Sadly, the bush Tucker walk seems to have fallen into disrepair; the paths were somewhat overgrown, and the signs very faded and possibly no longer relevant (they were fascinating, though!) Well worth a visit."

"Beautiful morning out. The trails were safe and maintained enough without impeding on the 'being out in nature' feel. We saw a Kangaroo and it's Joey from the orange trail track! Multiple Kookaburras and the sounds of nature covered the road traffic noise for the most part.
We were the only people there, until the BBQ maintenance team arrived, who were very friendly.
Toilet facilities and picnic bench facilities were tidy, with the exception of some bird poo around.
Great idea for the children's book exchange cupboard and having access to handwashing outside the bathrooms.
Only downside was the lack of signage to inducate parking, we weren't sure where to park once we opened the gate and were inside the grounds, so just parked up the top near the water tank.
Will be back again π"

"Lovely and Nice forests with plenty of space and walking trails. Had a Mother's Day event here by the local volunteer community and it was awesome!
Building a cubby, mud kitchen, crafts for mother's day and plenty of scenic views for nice photography.
Will come back to explore more for sure!"
