🍷 Signature tasting and grazing at Ballandean Estate today - and it did not disappoint! I sampled 4 wines from their 2025 list (including their delicious Fine Old Tawny), paired with a gorgeous local grazing platter. Doug may not drink, but he was very happy with the food! A must-do on any Granite Belt getaway. 📍 Ballandean Estate, QLD #BallandeanEstate #GraniteBelt #WineTasting #QueenslandWin...

The historic ambiance and the friendly, knowledgeable service from the family owners are frequently highlighted as major draws, making it a highly recommended destination in the Granite Belt region. While busy periods can mean staff are stretched, the overall quality of the wine and food shines through.

"Fantastic wine tasting with a very knowledgeable host who walked us through many of the rarer 'Strange Bird' varieties unique to the Region. Beautiful selection of whites and reds - my friends bought 4 bottles to go!"

Angela Challands

"Came here for the wine toasting and charcuterie board (pre-ordering is recommended). Was not disappointed and could absolutely not fault a single thing on the board. As we came in midweek it was quiet so the ladies were more than happy to have a chat and let us know which different brands of salami, Prosecco, condiments and cheeses were on the board. We had our own choice of four wine tastings, and I actually bought all 4 bottles. Could not fault the wines. The decor was awesome with wine barrels and cosy seating. Fabulous experience and well worth the money because the quality was exceptional."

Rom Spi

"Fantastic wine-tasting experience. We showed up without an appointment and they were quite busy. Nevertheless, their customer service was impeccable. We tried quite a few wines we hadn’t heard of before (strange birds) and bought quite a bit. Amazing how much good service makes a difference."
