What an amazing place, Abercrombie House is. So much history in the house. It’s only been owned by 2 families, The Stewart’s and then the Morgan’s. We had the privilege of meeting the current generation, unfortunately I didn’t get his name. He told us he’d lived in the house for 55 years, since he was 6 and he is happy that his children want to carry on the legacy. Definitely a labour of love. So...

From the moment I stepped onto the grounds, I could feel the history and character of this magnificent 19th-century mansion. The Scottish Baronial-style architecture is stunning. We were blown away by how beautifully the Morgan family has preserved the estate since the 1960s. The rooms are filled with antiques, period furniture, and little touches that make you imagine what life was like here over a century ago.
The gardens and surrounding grounds are lovely, peaceful, green, and perfect for a slow stroll or photo moment.
