"We visited the magnificent Fortuna villa estate in December & March 2025 for celebrations and it was an experience we will never forget. We stayed in the apartment which was great for a party of 4. It was beautifully decorated and had an old world farmhouse feel to it. The high tea was exceptional. A harpist played music which really added to the ambience and historical feel of the experience. The staff were efficient and prompt. The high tea portions were generous including the gluten-free treats. The wine & tea options were fantastic. After lunch was the perfect time for the guided tour that was very thorough & informative, even taking us under the house into the tunnels used to transport quartz. My favourite part of the high tea was ending our visit at the gift shop, where we were spoilt for choice with so many hand-crafted luxury items to take home as a memento. Our visit was so relaxing and enjoyable thanks to our wonderful hosts Paul & Natalia at Fortuna Villa!"

"Our High Tea experience was one we had waited for with excitement. The food and champagne was really lovely but we didn't get time to finish eating or drinking before we were summoned to join the tour after only 50 minutes at our table. Other diners were equally surprised and had food remaining. We thought we could come back and finish it after the tour but all tables were cleared. The booking was from 12 until 2.30pm. The tour took up an hour and 15 minutes, so we could have had another 15 minutes at our table which would have given us time to finish our food. After paying over $270 for three people, we felt the price was far too high for the small amount of food, drinks and time we had to consume it. We felt rushed from entry to exit. Certainly not a relaxing experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable but rushed through everything, with many participants missing out on information due to the size of the group and ability to move quickly. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend the experience to others."
