What if conservation started with berry picking? 🍓 Renowned ecologist and author Robin Wall Kimmerer invites us to see foraging not as extraction, but as connection. When we engage with the land through traditions like berry picking or sweetgrass harvesting, we don’t just witness nature, we fall in love with it. #RobinWallKimmerer #Conservation #Berries #Environment #LearnSomethingNew

"Located at 135 Queen Street, Berry, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺.
A wonderful little gem of a museum in the town of Berry which houses an amazing collection of old and antiques from years gone by. It’s amazing to wander through the rooms seeing the wonderful items on display. Some pieces I recognised, some I didn’t. I would definitely recommend this museum to both young people and more mature people. Definitely worth a visit. Thumbs up 👍 👍👍👍"

"Must visit if you’re in visiting Historic Berry, about Approx 2 hrs drive from Sydney. The Historic Berry Museum used to be an old bank so you can see the safe, typewriters and the good old vintage telephones etc. Also carefully preserved are the old WW1 uniforms, tools of trade, kitchenware. Just on the Main Street and entry is free. But they take donations on site but not a must. It’s open on weekends too."

"When we always went on our Family holidays down South Coast to Huskisson we would always pass through Berry Town never stopped to wonder around, but this time in April 25th on Anzac Day 2019 it was a very hot day, my husband had to visit a good mate of his at the Berry hospital and i was lucky to go down with him ...i was dropped off at Berry town i had 3hrs all to myself i also got lunch at the Berry Bakery it was so very busy, got a Steak and Mushroom Pie and a Sausage Roll it was so delicious i recommend that place to anyone .. most shops were closed on that day cause of the public holiday, Berry attracts a lot of people, and that day it was packed, it always is, it has beautiful old buildings and its history, i loved most of all the Berry Museum which i luv history so much, and wen i walked in the Museum the smell of the old building brought so many memories wen i used to go on School Excursions. You have to go and experience it for yourselves. 100% 👌🤗"
