Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Bherwerre Beach for its stunning, expansive white sands and incredible sense of seclusion, often having the beach almost entirely to themselves. The magical sunrise views and the chance to see kangaroos at the nearby campground are frequently highlighted as major draws. While the lack of amenities and surf patrols are noted, most find the natural beauty and tranquility well worth the preparation.

"This is one of my favourite beaches in Jervis Bay. It's a little trek from the carpark and there's a nice little camping ground with a family of friendly kangaroos that are happy to come right up to everyone and take a few photos.

The beach itself is stunning, stretching as far as the eye can see. The reflection of the sky on the water makes it look absolutely magical. Previously my favourite beach was always Hyams but that beach is always so so busy whereas most days, you can have Bherwerre Beach all to yourself. Bliss!"

"What an amazing beach, it's such a long stretch of beach to walk and best of all it's secluded, so if you and your partner want to get away from the hussle and bussle of Jervis Bay, this place is perfect. There are several ways of getting there, one is to turn right just after the pay station and follow the dirt road, the second option is to park at Cave Beach and walk towards the right on your way down to the beach. Happy exploring!"

Danny Rojas

"This beach is absolutely massive! I couldn't see the end of it. It seemed like endless, beautiful white sand. It was a short walk, maybe 5 to 10 minutes via Cave Beach campground to get here. As you enter the campground from where the information board is, stick to the left hand side and you'll see a large opening leading to the trail. It was an easy walk."
