What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bibra Lake is widely praised as a peaceful natural escape, particularly for its abundant birdlife and scenic boardwalk. Visitors enjoy the serene atmosphere and the opportunity to observe diverse wildlife. Some minor concerns have been raised regarding boardwalk unevenness and railing safety for young children, but overall, it's considered a great spot for nature lovers and active individuals.
"This is a great place for bird watching, funnily enough there is a bird species from Queensland that seems to have set up a small colony here in Bibra lake, so if any birders are looking to see a chestnut breasted mannikin make your way over! Also some adorable silvereyes, splendid fairy wrens, and plenty of water birds. Great walking track not too far from the city, yet feels like you’re in the country!"

"Beautiful even on a drizzly overcast day. Perfect for birding, the whole area is diverse and full of bird life. We saw rainbow bee-eaters (and their ground nests), rainbow lorikeets and musk duck. Recommend checking out the other bird hide and board walk just a couple of hundred meters up the path (north) where we saw blue billed ducks up close."
