What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Cosy Corner's stunning beachfront location and the incredible value of free camping. The pristine beaches and unique orange granite rocks are major highlights. However, the lack of amenities like water and bins requires thorough preparation, and the cold water deters some from swimming.
"Gorgeous campground right next to the beach. We managed to snag a nice secluded spot to ourselves. Nice walks on the beaches, but the sand and shredded shells can make for a bit more than a standard exfoliation experience! The small sheltered beach close by was worth exploring, across the rocks. About 15 minutes drive to St Helens. Decent hybrid toilets, BYO ballot papers!"

"What a fantastic free camp! Has hybrid toilets. A few steps from the beautiful Bay of Fires"
Julia Richardson
"I was looking for a spot close to the beach for a couple of nights chilling after bike riding.
This was certainly a good choice.
I got in early, always wise to do, and found a great spot for my van. Plenty of choice in the right hand parking area.
There are very clean toilets close by. No water or bins, so do the right thing.
The beach is lovely and you can walk to the fabulous rocks to the left or right. The water is too cold for me but is crystal clear and a lovely blue.
Great choice for me."
