"There are many wonderful walking tracks in the Blue Mountains, but the Grand Cliff Top Walk is one of the best, this rock is located in the middle of the walk and so close to Leura."
Lily Liu
"Just the same as Elysian Rock Lookout, if not, better. Both lookouts are in the same reach, so you have the same views but different angles. There is a small carpark before the track going down to Olympian Rock, but I recommend that you park on the street parking. It's just easier. The descend down has many stairs, all of which are very effortless. There are benches there to take in the views, which are amazing. It's a short drive down from Leura Mall."

"Went on a random Tuesday afternoon before sunset and it was such a breathtaking view. I did not expect to see how vast and high up we were in leura.
It was a 5-10min drive from leura mall and I park on the side of the road and had a short walk down the stairs to reach the lookout. When we got there, we had the options to walk along the sides to go to other lookouts and they were equally beautiful. Stunning.
For some of the residents around the area, this was their backyard view and that was crazy to believe."

Photography Tips for Olympian Rock Lookout
The golden hour, particularly in the late afternoon leading up to sunset, is the prime time for photography. The warm, soft light bathes the valley in a magical glow, highlighting textures and creating long shadows that add depth and drama to your shots. Be prepared for changing weather conditions; the Blue Mountains are known for their dynamic skies, which can offer dramatic, moody backdrops or brilliant, clear vistas. A tripod can be beneficial for stabilizing your camera during these times, especially if you plan to capture long exposures or work in lower light conditions.
