"A wonderful 4km walk from Bolton Point to Marmong Point walking around the foreshore of Awaba Bay. Most of the walk is through the Lake Macquarie State Recreational area. There are 9 bridges that span small gullies to traverse as the walk is up and down with a number of sets of steps.
Native flowers are in bloom during spring and are delightful to see.
It's a 2 and a half hour return walk of about 8km much of it looking at or across the waters of Lake Macquarie from Speers Point, Warners Bay, Eleebana, Croudace Bay."

Mark Taylor

"A nice 90min walk with a great view of the lake. Our 5 year old loved it, though it was a bit far so had to be carried a few times.

Path is well marked and has a few climbs with steps and small bridges.

A great family adventure!"

Peter Huish

"A really nice walk along the lake foreshore. Lots of botanical diversity, bug and bird life. Be cautious as there are lots of exposed roots along the trail. A positive bit of negative development."
