"Cute little lookout over the river where, if you’re patient, you can spot some platypuses. There are some picnic tables and a bird hide. We also saw some wallabies. Well worth the short detour if you’re passing by. Note that the road in is unpaved / unsealed and quite badly corrrugated, but is passable for all vehicles. Just take it slow."

"Went about 4.00pm, saw multiple platypuses. What a great feeling, as have been trying to actually see one for years, in many other supposed good viewing locations. Went back next morning, again many sightings. Great location."
