Reviews Summary

Tims Thicket Beach is a popular 4WD destination south of Perth, praised for its beach driving and fishing opportunities. Visitors enjoy the coastal scenery and the ability to drive directly on the sand. However, it can get very crowded, especially on weekends, and the water depth increases rapidly, making swimming a cautious activity for some. Weed presence can also affect fishing success.

"Closest beach point access via All Wheel Drive(AWD). Kluger and subaru can go there with ease"

Jaymin Bhagat

"Nearest beach to take your car on the beach south of Perth.

Decent run on the beach.

Lots of weeds near the beach so fishing wasn't great.

It gets deep very quickly, so I wouldn't recommend it for swimming either.

If you want to camp, and a lot of people do, use the fishing rod hack."

clint jose

"Located 15 kilometres south of Mandurah the reef hugs the shore creating a 200 metre long protected embayment. Popular 4wd and fishing location. We arrived at 6am for a day of fishing. By 10 am the shoreline had no realestate left and the bay was full of people swimming. I wasn't expecting it to be so busy. Cars just continued pouring onto the beach all day."
