Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Haig Street Quarry Bushland Reserve for its beautiful nature, peaceful quarry pond, and scenic lookout views. It's a lovely quiet park with good facilities for picnics and a small playground for kids. However, some find the trails difficult to follow and not well-maintained, making them less suitable for those with mobility issues or elderly visitors. The visibility of some tracks has also been a concern for solo female walkers.
"This Monday’s walking group was such a good one! 🌿 We checked out Haig Street Quarry, wandered through beautiful nature, explored different paths, split into small groups and met up at the lookout, shared a three-way banana 🍌, spotted plenty of wildlife, and enjoyed each other’s company the whole way through."

"This is a lovely quiet park with plenty of facilities and recreational areas.
The track is somewhat difficult to follow - especially if you are not starting at the Haig st entrance, you have to walk along the road or drive to get between grey gum picnic area and quarry pond picnic area.
Both walks are short, suitable for children but strongly recommend anyone with mobility issues or the elderly do not use these tracks because although they are bitumen- they are not well maintained.
This track is also not highly visible so please keep in mind that it may not feel safe for solo female walkers."
