Bells Rapids Park Waterfall Scenic spot on Campersic Rd, Brigadoon, Western Australia This morning I headed up to Bells rapids lookout, (not the normal area I park to see the rapids) as I saw a post recently of a secret waterfall I wanted to discover. Took my daughters and dogs with me. I found it and it was glorious, it's more spectacular than lesmurdie falls in my opinion, a harder treck to get...

"A hidden gem less than 30 mins from the city. The secret is to visit after rainy season when the river is really flowing. This place has stunning views. Plenty of parking available although it is all on mud. The end road bit is also not sealed and can be very narrow at a few points.

There were literally hundreds of cars and people when we visited on a sunny winter Saturday in August. It is a beautiful place for a picnic or for just strolling around while enjoying nature.

Toilets are available. There was also a ice cream truck and a fresh juice etc truck on site.

Overall a great day out and a highly recommended place when the river is flowing."

"One of the most scenic spots to visit in Perth. It is a 30-40 minutes drive from Perth city. The place is very aesthetic, with scenic views of a river and nature, great for taking beautiful pictures. Highly recommend going to the bridge as it is one of the best spots in the area!"

While the winter and spring offer the most spectacular water features, the park is also beautiful year-round. Autumn provides pleasant weather for hiking, and even in drier months, the natural landscape offers a peaceful escape. However, for the iconic 'rapids' experience, timing your visit after rain is key. Reddit
