Parking is a little competitive, but this waterfall is only a couple of hundred metres in off the road (up) on a rocky, stepped track.
Water is crystal clear and very refreshing (aka cold!)
Plenty to explore. You can just keep going down river. Or you can walk up river on the path.
Rocks can be slippery so take care. Would be best to just wear reef shoes.
Plenty of sparkles in the water to to try to find some gold.
A very beautiful natural place to enjoy."

"Next time we're taking a picnic and spending all day there. We went in January school holidays on a Tues. Fantastic on a hot day, the water is refreshingly cold and clear. Very busy with families with kids of all ages. Lots to explore and we discovered our own private swimming hole and waterfall.
No dogs allowed. Parking is tricky when it's busy."

"I love this place. Safety-wise, I didn't notice any highly dangerous aspects. It's just a 5-minute walk from the road, although the road itself lacks ample parking. The water is clean and refreshing. It was a bit crowded when we visited on the weekend, but the waterfall was exceptionally beautiful. I enjoyed the experience a lot. However, be cautious of snakes in the area. Overall, it's a beautiful place to be fresh up after the Horn Lookout hike."
