What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Elsternwick Park Nature Reserve is widely praised as a fantastic, multi-purpose park, especially for dog owners and families. Visitors love the ample space for dogs to run, the engaging playgrounds, and the convenient BBQ facilities. Some minor drawbacks include a need for more bins and occasional issues with restroom maintenance.
"I love this park, it's just about the right size to walk my little dog around park and big enough inside for her to run around unleashed. There's an undercover BBQ area next to the playground and the public toilet, a small basketball shooting hoop and a large unleashed dog area near the Head Street side of the park. And there's another bbq area and a larger playground on the Bent Avenue side."

"It was a skate park, my 8yo had a ball!! Would of had more fun had his helmet and elbow and knee pads fit. The"kids" size pads that I prepaid turned out to be adult medium (truckers.), so I made him wear the elbow pads as knee pads. Oh yeah, and don't scoot down the rink even if your kid double dog dares you. I hope the pictures and clips help. Anywhere outside is good for your child. Beats the Nintendo switch 2 that I got him. Once his helmet and pads come, and skate shoes come, he'll be able to take more risks being confident."

"A great place to take your dog! We have Never have had a bad experience and its great if your dog likes socializing with other dogs, weekdays between 3-6 is when you will find the most people there with their pups 🐕🐕🦺
As for everyone else, 2 huge playgrounds, a skatepark, walking tracks, bbq areas, massive ovals, gym equipment and more
I would say the only negative is they need more bins and water fountains. They recently installed 2 new restrooms."
