Despite the long wait to Check-in, Jackie and Kiki made up for the hiccup with their smiles and warm welcome. Watching and listening to Kiki carefully executing what she learnt along Jackie’s superb smooth support was very pleasant to see. The girls took me back to my days at the Marriott & Intercontinental Hotels as Operations manager … these kind of staff were rare back then…and still are these days I guess.
Another highlight would be our dinner/meals at the Garden kitchen bar and the exceptional service by Michael."

"I have visited The Star Gold Coast three times within the past year from Cairns and every time I love it! It sets a high standard of opulence and is excellent value. The location is ideal - Pacific Fair shopping centre is huge and a 5-10 minute walk away. The Harvest Buffet breakfast buffet is delicious. My favourite breakfast ever; there are so so many options to choose from including smoothies, bread and butter pudding and all the staples like eggs, bacon, bagels etc. The Azure Spa is beautiful. They have a traditional sauna which is clean and relaxing, herbal tea upon arrival and the hot stone massage was divine. The casino itself is absolutely huge. It has DJs and live music with a dance floor which is fun. There are multiple other bars and restaurants - I enjoyed the live jazz. There is also a major bus stop nearby (I get the 50c bus from the Coolangatta airport and walk to The Star from the bus stop with my suitcase). The staff helped book a taxi for me at 4am, which has always been on time. The beds are comfy. The bathroom lighting is excellent. Bathrobes provided. Movie theatre in the building. Always balls and events going on. Love the personalised greeting on the room's TV and the automatic blinds in the rooms. I'll be back again!"
