"Was a great place to capture the aurora on Wednesday 12th November 2025 as you could kinda still see it but my phone got the good pics. A good place to see the stars as there is no light pollution nearby. I would recommend a few people at least and a torch as it is kinda sketchy at night"

"Located Jamberoo Mountain Road, Budderoo National Park, Budderoo, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺
I really fantastic looking where, on a clear day you can see Kiama, Lake Illawarra and even five islands off the coast of Wollongong. The viewing platform offers a spectacular panoramic view over the rolling hills and paddocks. The sign on the road alerting you to the lookout is quite small so be aware as you are driving along. The is plenty of parking 🅿️ available and after you have enjoyed the view you can take a walk along the Budderoo track. There is no toilet facilities though which is a shame. There’s is one picnic bench to enjoy a picnic 🧺 if you want and an informative board to see nearby walking trails. I would definitely recommend a visit for the view alone, especially on a clear day, in which case be sure to bring your camera. Thumbs Up! 👍👍👍"
