What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Heritage Bank Stadium is lauded for its family-friendly atmosphere and amenities, including a kids' zone and the ability to bring your own food. However, visitors often point out challenges with parking and public transport, as well as a single large screen for scores that can be inconvenient. Food prices are also noted as being on the higher side.
"The best stadium for families. Bring your kids along to the game. They have ample space available to kick the footy behind the stadium, free face painting and rides for the little ones. You can bring your own food too, as long as its in clear plastic bags. The best stadium I've ever been too. Great day out."

"Great, clean stadium. Food, Brewery and toilets just a walk away. Grass was well looked after, we were there for the game of Collingwood v Suns. Parking easy. The only thing i can fault.... THEY HAVE ONLY ONE BIG SCREEN TO WATCH THE GAME, AND SCORE. This completely confused us, as too why they qouldnt have more screens? Everyone had too turn backwards, on the goal side to see the score and watch the game. Our ticket prices were $79.00 each, but we were told most of the time expect to pay less as the game we went too was a special one? We ended up standing, most of the entire game. Fun night, great atmosphere"

"Pain to get to, if car park is full you have to bus from Nerang train station, if you can find a park there.
Stadium itself is ok, small and open so cold in winter watching football..
Food prices are through the roof.
Alcohol stands galore and 1 coffee stand with a line a mile long waiting.
Safe to say I will not be returning"

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
Plan for the possibility of standing during the game, as seating can be limited or uncomfortable for some. Consider arriving early to enjoy the pre-game entertainment and explore the family-friendly facilities. The stadium's welcoming atmosphere makes it a great spot for a fun-filled day out with the whole family.
🚗 Budget Travelers
To further save money and avoid expensive parking fees, prioritize using public transport or the free shuttle services if available. While ticket prices can vary, looking for less popular games or checking for special offers might yield better deals. Be prepared for the possibility of standing during the game, which can sometimes be a more affordable option.
🚶 Day-Trippers

Family-Friendly Features
Furthermore, the stadium's policy on bringing your own food in clear plastic bags is a huge plus for families looking to manage their budget. This allows parents to pack familiar snacks and meals for their children, avoiding the often-high costs of stadium concessions. Combined with the engaging pre-game entertainment, these elements make Heritage Bank Stadium a highly recommended destination for a memorable family outing.
Navigating Event Day Logistics
Post-event departures can also be a point of frustration. Reports indicate disorganized queues for buses and significant wait times for ride-sharing services, with some attendees waiting over an hour and a half for an Uber. This highlights the importance of having a clear exit strategy, perhaps by pre-booking transport or being prepared for a longer-than-expected wait. Understanding these logistical hurdles in advance can significantly improve the overall experience and reduce stress on event days.
Stadium Amenities and Comfort
Another point of contention for some is the limited number of large screens displaying scores and game information. This setup can be confusing, as not everyone has a clear view, and it detracts from the overall viewing experience for some patrons. While the atmosphere is generally praised, these comfort and viewing aspects are worth considering when planning your visit.
