Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Pokolbin State Forest for its stunning views, quiet and secluded camping spots, and the adventurous 4WD tracks. However, some trails are unmaintained and overgrown, requiring high clearance and 4WD, and caution is advised regarding navigation and exit routes.

"Great drive mostly 2wd accessible however definitely 4wd needed towards the top of the track to yellow rock. Stunning views and so quiet"

cs180 Little

"Some good tracks to explore. Some good camp spots. Excellent lookouts to find if you do some exploring"

Michael Walker

"Lots of these trails are not maintained and overgrown. Do not under any circmstances take these trails without a 4WD or if you care about the paint on your car. Lots of branches and brush. Also lots of high clearance rocks on the trail. Don't take the trail from Bees Nest Ridge Road towards Broke to try and exit the Forest. According to google it says you can use this road to get you out of the forest but it's a dead end and very trecherous! If you go down this road in a 2wd you're never getting out."
