Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the spectacular beaches and stunning coastal views in Coffin Bay National Park, with many highlighting the abundant wildlife sightings. However, some find the 4WD tracks challenging and advise caution for standard vehicles, while others suggest booking campsites well in advance due to popularity.

"We stayed at the RV campground but found we could travel no further into the park with the poor quality 4WD tracks. There were warning signs at the opening of the park warning about those tracks. The road however to the campground is bitumen and well maintained. There is a nice lookout which is worth stopping at and there are several walks from the campground which are medium quality. All require good footwear as they are rocky. We had previously stayed at Lincoln National Park which we felt was much nicer."

"Coffin Bay National Park is definitely a must see if you are either passing through or staying in coffin bay. The beaches are spectacular. The national park itself is just as spectacular you will see many emus, kangaroos and if you are lucky you might see a sleepy lizard. Please look out for lizards while driving in the national park as the do like to cross the road or just stay on the road for the warmth Golden point has amazing views there are a few islands you can see and avoid point you can stop at have amazing views. Don't stand close to the cliffs edges though that risks giving way and quiet a long drop done so take notice of the signs. There is a campground with drop toilets in the national park that you pay a fee to stay in but no dogs allowed so if you are traveling with your furbaby you won't be able to go into the national park. The rock pools are very beautiful if your lucky you might find a few tiny fish or other small marine life in them when the tide is out. There are also some very flora in the national park as well."
