The serene atmosphere and picturesque views of the tidal creek are frequently highlighted as major positives. However, some reviewers mention that signage could be improved and suggest adding more drinking water facilities.

"Coffs creek walkway is a scenic, serene walk extending from our gorgeous tidal creek all the way into town. This walk is for most fitness types, dog walking, jogging, bike riding. The walk literally hugs the creek except for a steep hill.
You can start at the Promenade if a flat walk is preferred.
The views of the creek are sublime, the water of the creek can change to the clearest "crystal blue" on a sunny clear day. Various fishing spots are located along the track.
I take as many photographs to capture the changing scenery and colors. Many birds flit between the trees and fish can be spotted in the crystal clear water.
This is a pleasant "time out", children enjoy the walk with family and the walk is pram friendly.
The track is kept in good condition.
Finish your walk at the beautiful Botanical Gardens."
